How to Link Your NIN to Your Access Bank Account

Linking your National Identification Number to your Access Bank account is the process of associating your unique 11-digit NIN, issued by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), with your Access Bank account details.

How to Link NIN to your Access Bank account

You can link your NIN to your Access Bank in five ways: via Online, USSD, Mobile App, ATM,  and Access Bank branch. Here are steps to connecting your NIN to your Access Bank account.

Online method:

1. Visit the Access Bank website at www.accessbankplc.com.

2. Click on “NIN/BVN Linkage” button from the homepage.

3. Input your Access Bank account number and NIN in the fields provided.

4. Click on the “Submit” and wait for the verification process.

After following the steps above, you will receive a confirmation message that your NIN has been linked to your account.

USSD method:

1. Dial *901*11# on your mobile phone from a registered phone number.

2. Follow the on-screen prompts and enter your NIN when requested.

3. Confirm your details and submit.

If successful, you will receive a confirmation message that your NIN has linked to your Access Bank account.

Mobile App method:

1. Install the Access Bank app from Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.

2. Open the app and log in with your username and password.

3. Tap on the menu icon at the top left corner of the screen.

4. Select “NIN/BVN Linkage.

5. Enter your Access Bank account number, NIN, and BVN in the fields provided.

6. Tap on the “Submit” button and wait for the verification process.

If successful, you will receive a confirmation message that your NIN has been linked to your Bank account.

Access ATM method:

1. Locate any Access Bank ATM near.

2. Insert your Access Bank debit card in the ATM.

3. Enter your PIN, then select “NIN/BVN Linkage” from the menu options.

4. Enter your NIN and BVN when prompted and confirm your details.

5. Wait for the verification process.

If successful, you will receive a confirmation message that your NIN has been linked to your account.

Access Bank branch method:

1. Visit any nearest Access Bank branch.

2. Meet their customer care service.

3. Request for NIN linkage form and fill it with your details.

4. Attach a copy of your NIN slip to the form.

5. Submit the form and wait for the verification process.

If successful, you will receive a confirmation message that your NIN has been linked to your Access Bank account.
